USA ESTA Visa Waiver
The US ESTA system, created by the United States Government, evaluates the eligibility of citizens from countries in the Visa Waiver Program. This automated system gathers passport information from travelers before they depart for the US. Available since January 12, 2009, the program requires eligible citizens to obtain ESTA authorization to enter the US. Applicants need a valid passport to receive an ESTA visa waiver. Upon arrival at a US port of entry, travelers must present their valid ESTA visa waiver.
